2008 Olaf White TeeI’m always looking for models to collaborate with and expand both of our portfolios.  Previous experience is not required.  All types and ages are great but you must be at least 18 years of age to pose for me.  Athletic to muscular builds are preferred but sexiness and confidence can sometimes outrank a perfect body.

TFP/TFCD (Time For Print / Time For CD)

Time For Print is an old Print Magazine saying meaning that a photographer trades his time for the model’s talent and the result is printed photos that they both can use in portfolios – so there is no money exchanged, only time and talent.

TFP (or TFCD as some call it now) is preferred.

PAID SHOOTS

Paid shoots are available throughout the year but only for special projects or if the shoot has been requested by a client with a budget for a model.   Contact me if you would like to be considered for paid work.

FAQs

Do I have to be nude?

No.  Nudity is never a requirement.  If a project involves nudity I will express that requirement up front but there is never a ‘surprise’ request at a shoot to drop your clothes.

Do I need experience?

Nope.  Most of the guys I work with are totally new to modeling which is fine with me.  Fresh faces are a good thing in this business.  All you need is a good attitude, confidence and a willingness to take direction.

Are you affiliated or work with any gay porn studios?

I do not have any professional relationships with gay porn companies through Texas Male Photography.  I do not solicit or scout for studios.

Do you mind tattoos or piercings?

Not at all!  Tatts and piercings are cool but they must be attractive work.

Do I get a say in which photos you use?  What are my rights as a model?

In both a TFP and Paid situation, you will be required to sign a standard modeling release form that will determine your rights as well as mine.

In a TFP situation, the release you sign is basically a promotional agreement between you (as a model) and me (as a photographer.)  This gives you and me an equal right to use the photos to promote ourselves in what ever medium possible (YouTube, websites, blogs, printed materials, publications, banners, Facebook and so on.)  However I try to be as understanding as possible when selecting photos for display from a TFP shoot.

However, if you are paid for a shoot then it becomes the sole discretion of the person who supplied the budget for your pay.  The release you sign gives full rights to the owner of the work.  In most cases you still get copies of the photos for your own use but they will have final say in how the photos are used.
